Riversar, on the banks of the Sacred River, is famous not only for its beauty but also for its impregnability. The dark elves have tried on numerous occasions to seize the homeland of their light brothers, but without any success.

As a child watching her native walls under siege, Aurora dreamed of helping her kin; with time, this wish became the firm decision to train as a warrior. However, her wealthy and influential parents could not understand her military ambitions. Why would a beautiful elf from a prosperous family want to fight when she could study architecture and music! But the flame of Aurora’s desire burned too brightly: she ran away from home in search of her own destiny. The girl found herself helping the surrounding settlements, and soon joined Harun’s army as a simple foot soldier.

Exhausting training, constant battles, fresh scars, sleepless nights on guard duty, and the mockery of her male comrades — Aurora endured everything for the sake of her mission. Only occasionally, when the girl’s heart became unbearably heavy, would she silently pray to her patroness, the goddess Temari.

One morning, she received disturbing news from Riversar: treacherous elves who had joined the dark side had opened the gates to the Emissaries of Chaos. Aurora set off for home without a moment’s delay. Battling with the servants of Chaos was exhausting, but she emerged victorious time after time. Her enemies were terrified by the incredible zeal of just this one warrior. What, then, if there were more like her? What would they be capable of? But everything has its limit, and when Aurora’s strength started to wane, she was wounded by a poisoned blade and fell unconscious.

When she came to, she found herself held captive in the very lair of the enemy. Monstrous creatures and merciless torturers put her through agony day and night, trying to force her to acknowledge her new master. But Aurora refused to give in, maintaining a firm silence. The decision was made to sentence her to an excruciating death in full view of all the commanders of Chaos. A large crowd gathered to enjoy the humiliation of the light elf. Then suddenly, as Aurora was on the verge of taking her final breath after several hours of hellish torture, a true miracle occurred.

The area was flooded with an incredibly bright light, blinding the servants of Chaos. When the light faded, Aurora found herself lying on the ground. All her wounds and scars had healed, and her hands and face were shining with an iridescent glow. “I’m alive! Could this be a gift from the Goddess herself?” thought the girl, coming to her senses. Her suffering had not been in vain: through Temari’s gift, Aurora became a paladin. Hearing the elf’s war cry, her enemies fled in all directions, wounding and killing each other in their panic. So Aurora saved Riversar and fulfilled her childhood dream, becoming a fearless defender of her people.
