Visitors to the land of volcanoes are struck by its breath-taking landscapes, as if they had set foot on another planet. Steam rising from the many geysers sparkles in the setting sun, while flows of bubbling lava slowly solidify into otherworldly, twisting rock forms. The only thing is, there's absolutely nothing to eat in these parts! Don't believe those who say that lava dragons don't need food – Chabba is living proof to the contrary.

A true gourmet, he values a hearty dinner and a good sleep above all else. But several years ago, sleep was his main and only delight. There were no yummy treats to be found in the volcanic wastelands, so there was nothing to trouble the soul of the future glutton. He would just lie on the volcano's hot slopes, occasionally spitting pieces of rock into the sky.

Until one morning, he woke up to an unfamiliar scent. His nostrils eagerly sniffed the air, and saliva flowed freely from his fanged mouth. Jumping up from his rocky nest, Chabba rushed off in search of the source of the wondrous smell. He soon arrived at a small village, where a young woman was cooking a stew in her kitchen. What a beauty! The stew, that is. Entranced by the delectable aroma, Chabba lurched forward, clumsily knocking some utensils off the table and giving a fright to the homeowner.

The dragon slowly approached his target, while the girl backed away, pale as a ghost. Little did she know that Chabba had no intention of harming her. Suddenly, something flashed outside the window, followed by a loud roar and clouds of smoke. Marauding orcs from Hardan's Plateau had come to the village to enslave its inhabitants! Chabba, however, had his mind on one thing only, and thus he interpreted the orcs' attack a little differently. These vile monsters had come to take his stew!

Oh, what carnage! The green-skinned enemies were instantly flayed into charred shreds by the highly protective dragon. Once the dust had settled, Chabba breathed a sigh of relief — his stew was safe. The villagers simply stood around in bewilderment at the day's events. Only the young cook guessed what he was after, removed the pot from the fire, and presented it to him. From that day on, Chabba became the village's protector — in return for a constant supply of delicious treats.

So what business does Chabba have to do with the Guardians, you might ask? Well, you know, they travel a lot — and with travel comes the opportunity to try cuisine from every corner of the Dominion. Draw your own conclusions!
